Long established global energy firm is recruiting a Contracts Manager for their Fossil Power business unit. Recognised for their expertise in the Fossil, Renewable and T&D markets as well as being a market leader in the equipment manufacturing industry.An opportunity exists in their Fossil Power business unit in Surrey for a Contracts Manager. The Contracts Manager will be the initial point of contact for providing Contract Management support to the Projects, Procurement and Commercial businesses within Fossil and Energy Solutions. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Project Management in review of contractual terms and preparation in support of claims
- Analysing customer enquiries and complete delivering of a commercial bid as well as negotiating with Clients and Partners
- Approving contracts
- Assist Project Management in Sub-Contract negotiations
- Recognise and refer commercial and contractual issues to internal / external specialists where necessary and ensure such advise is adequately communicated
The ideal Contracts Manager will have the following background:
- Contract Management experience in the Power Generation field
- Experience of working in large international organisations such as another heavy equipment manufacturer or PC
- Strong academics
- An ability to speak German
- Strong relationship building skills
The remuneration on offer includes generous holidays, up to 20% bonus and a salary of up to £80,000 - will be very dependent upon experience to date.
