Our client is an international energy service company with £5bn sales, employing more than 29,000 people worldwide and operating in 50 countries.
The group consists of 3 divisions being Engineering and Production Facilities, Well Support and Gas Turbine Services.
They are an international leader in both marginal field developments, in life-of-field engineering and in production support.
Basic Purpose of Job:
For the Total contract with offshore and site visits.
Perform all Static & dynamic Commissioning Tasks with a view to achieving early and efficient client handover.
Supervisory and Managerial Duties:
Main Duties:
•Perform technical review of Design drawings / deliverables. Objective is to provide input and identify any changes to ensure operability and minimise time and cost. Also to comment on preferred delivery schedules.
•Review Construction plans with a view to achieving early and efficient client handover.
•Develop discipline Commissioning Work Orders, Plans, documentation, Input into multi discipline commissioning Procedures and Handover documentation for early and efficient client acceptance.
•Witness's onshore factory acceptance tests where required.
•Liaise with, and manage interfaces with respective Operations personnel (onshore and offshore).
•Plan and supervise the discipline onshore and offshore commissioning of new & modified equipment and any effected systems.
•Act as engineering vendor liaison.
•Advise system priorities, to Construction Focal Point, with a view to early and efficient hand-over.
•Monitor Commissioning work-in-progress, report against plan.
•Complete weekly / daily Platform Report, for onshore distribution.
•Co-ordinate and execute Internal and Client Operations system discipline - pre take-over and pre hand-over inspections. Develop and agree Punch List and complete in line with Plan / agreed schedule.
•Advise Check sheet status and complete sheets where applicable.
As Build any changes to documents / drawings made during commissioning activities.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:
?Effective maintenance of Performance through HS&E and Asset duty holder's safety initiatives and programs.
?Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
?Carry out work in accordance with Engineering Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.?Effective and disciplined use of PTW, risk assessments systems.
Experience:
Sound knowledge and experience of Electrical systems LV HV, VSD and control systems.
?Fully time served with recognised apprenticeship, with Technical Qualification in subject discipline (HNC min.).
?In date BOSIET/OFFSHORE MEDICAL/MIST Certificates.
?Oil and gas related experience.
?Good communication and interpersonal skills.
?Strong Leadership Qualities.
