Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd will be developing Singapore’s first Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal on Jurong Island which will be part of Singapore’s critical energy infrastructure. CONTRACTS MANAGER
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Director (Strategy & Risk), the Contracts Manager will be responsible for preparation and issue of invitation to tender documents, management of tender evaluations and clarifications (including preparation of tender evaluation reports), development and drafting of contract terms and conditions, supporting contract negotiation and award and preparation of related reports and approval papers.
The Contracts Manager will also be involved in ongoing contract management and administration of major engineering and consultancy services contracts. These include Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for LNG / gas related facilities and consultancy services contracts for feasibility studies, front end engineering and design, technical and legal advisors. In particular, he or she will provide support to the LNG Terminal Project Management Team including dealing with contract variations, contractor claims, insurance and security provisions, vendor / sub-contractor approval etc.

Requirements:
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Candidates from the LNG industry are preferred but not a prerequisite.
* Candidates from oil and gas (upstream and downstream) industry and processing businesses will also be considered favourably.
* Candidate shall have 10-15 years of experience in dealing with major construction contracts from initiation to tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award.
* Candidate shall have sound knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
* Candidate’s career profile should demonstrate sound professional career development.
* Candidate shall be able to work independently and is simultaneously a good team player.
Education
* Candidate shall possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, with specialisation in an engineering / business discipline.
